1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use ivee - our website, our programmes and our application. This statement sets out where we are, what we know needs work, and how to tell us if something is not working for you.
ivee is a trading name of IVY HQ LIMITED, company number 15104292, registered office 9 Claremont Road, Twickenham, England, TW1 2QX. Contact us at hello@ivee.jobs.
2. The standard we are working to
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is the standard used across the UK public sector and the benchmark most organisations work to.
We are a small company and we are honest about the fact that we are not fully there yet. The gaps we know about are in section 4.
3. What we have done
Our website is designed so that you should be able to:
navigate the whole site using a keyboard alone;
use it with a screen reader;
resize text up to 200% without content breaking or overlapping;
zoom to 400% without losing content or functionality;
read text against a background with a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body text;
understand every image through alternative text, where the image conveys meaning;
identify every form field through a visible, programmatically associated label;
see a clear focus indicator on whatever element you are on;
read content in a logical order that matches the visual order.
We do not use content that flashes or moves automatically, and we do not rely on colour alone to convey information.
4. Known issues
We are working on the following. We will update this list as we fix them.
Some older blog posts and downloadable PDFs are not fully tagged for screen readers. Impact: PDF content may not be navigable by assistive technology. Status: being remediated - email us and we will send you an accessible version of any document.
Embedded third-party content, such as our payment checkout, is controlled by the provider and may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. Impact: variable. Status: we have raised it with the provider - contact us and we will take your booking another way.
Video content published before 2026 may not have accurate captions. Impact: deaf and hard of hearing users. Status: being remediated - new video is captioned as standard.
5. Accessibility of our programmes
Our programmes are delivered live and online. We want them to work for you, and we will make reasonable adjustments.
We can usually provide:
live captions during sessions;
materials in advance, so you can read them at your own pace before a session;
materials in an alternative format - large print, plain text, a screen-reader-friendly document, or a different colour scheme;
session recordings, where available, so you can revisit content;
breaks and pacing adjustments;
a written summary in place of a purely visual exercise;
advance notice of the session structure, which many neurodivergent participants tell us is the single most useful adjustment.
Please tell us what you need. Email hello@ivee.jobs as far ahead of your cohort start date as you can - ideally at least 7 days, though we will always try regardless. You do not need to explain a diagnosis or provide evidence. Just tell us what would help.
We handle information about accessibility requirements sensitively. It is used only to make the adjustment, is not shared beyond the people who need it to deliver your session, and is deleted once your programme has finished. See our Privacy Policy.
6. Accessibility of the application
The prompt improver is a macOS application. It supports the accessibility features built into macOS, including VoiceOver, keyboard navigation, Increase Contrast, Reduce Motion and system text size settings.
The application is new and we expect to find accessibility issues in it. If you hit one, please tell us - reports from users are the fastest way we improve.
7. Our legal position
We are a private company, so the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to us. We work to the same standard voluntarily.
We do have obligations under the Equality Act 2010. Section 29 requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not put at a substantial disadvantage. That duty is anticipatory - we are expected to think about it in advance rather than wait to be asked. We take it seriously, and if we have got something wrong we would rather hear from you than not.
8. Tell us about a problem
If you find something you cannot use, or you need content in a different format:
Email: hello@ivee.jobs - please put "Accessibility" in the subject line.
Tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you use if relevant.
We will acknowledge within 2 working days and tell you what we can do and by when. Where we can provide an alternative format, we will do so within 10 working days, and sooner if you have a session coming up.
9. If we get it wrong
If you are not satisfied with how we have responded, please use our Complaints and Dispute Resolution Policy.

10. How we test
We test our website with keyboard-only navigation, with VoiceOver on macOS, and with automated accessibility tooling. Automated tools catch roughly a third of accessibility problems, so we also test manually. We have not yet commissioned an independent third-party audit; we intend to, and we will publish the results here when we do.
This statement was last reviewed on 29 July 2026. We review it at least annually and whenever we make a significant change to our website or application.
